Our Story

Everkae & Co. was born right at home — during maternity leave, with nothing but an iPad, a $1,000 investment, and a dream tucked deep in my heart. A dream of building something meaningful, of being present, and of creating a life centered around family.

Hi, I’m Lexie, the founder of Everkae & Co., and this little business came to life during one of the most challenging seasons I’ve ever walked through. I experienced an incredibly difficult pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum journey — one that changed me in ways only motherhood can. During that time, smocked clothing became an unexpected comfort. What started as retail therapy quickly turned into a creative outlet and, eventually, a calling. I saw a gap in the market and felt a tug on my heart to fill it — with timeless designs, thoughtful details, and pieces that feel just as special as the moments they’re worn in.

While Everkae & Co. continues to grow, I still work full-time to help establish strong roots for this brand. That means my availability during the day can sometimes be limited, but please know every message, order, and kind word is deeply appreciated. My husband, David, has been by my side since day one — packing orders, managing inventory, and handling so much of the behind-the-scenes work. EKC truly wouldn’t be what it is without his constant support.

At the heart of it all is my daughter, Everleigh Kae — the inspiration behind our name and the reason this brand exists. Everkae & Co. was created so I could be more present with her and build something that honors motherhood, family, and the fleeting sweetness of childhood. That same heart carries through to our community and team. We’re all here because we love our littles (or future littles) fiercely and believe in uplifting one another through every season.
